Paintings by Brian Shapiro

Over 200 paintings and drawings have been commissioned by business in several U.S. cities that focus on recognizable people in characteristic tasks in the workplace. Shapiro's interest in labor goes back to his earliest drawing at age six. His first one-person show of depictions of workers was at the Madison Art Center in 1977. This series began in 1989 and continues to date.

Prices determined by size, complexity and medium.
