The Arch of Titus in Rome glorifies the destruction of the Jewish Temple and depicts Roman soldiers carrying objects from the holy sanctuary. The most holy of these objects was the tablets containing the Ten Commandments. The legend is that as the Romans were about to enter the temple to finally destroy it, the original Tablets were buried in "Solomon's Stables," an area under the Temple Mount now forbidden to Jews by the Arab authority which controls the Temple Mount. This area is on the inside of the main wall depicted.
